Born and raised in Lexington, KY...Mario is excited to have the opportunity to work in his hometown!

Mario joined the HOT 102 family, as the station's Promotions & Marketing Director in February 2012.

While this is Mario's first venture into the radio business, Mario is no stranger to broadcasting OR the marketing and promotions field.

Mario got his first chance at "delivering the news" in the 5th grade. He delivered the morning announcements each day over the public address system at his elementary school. His education in news continued all the way through Eastern Kentucky University, where he majored in Broadcast News and Electronic Media. After college, Mario worked in front of the camera as a television news reporter and behind the scenes in the newsroom doing multiple positions for more than five years.

And if you've ever attended a Lexington Legends ball game, you've probably seen "SuperMario" at the ballpark. Mario served as "Director of FUN" for the Legends. He managed the single-A minor league baseball club's promotions and community relations efforts.

When not working, Mario enjoys spending time in the gym, hanging out with friends and family and regularly watching wrestling. That's right, wrestling!
